A Heavy RP Guild, is usually the guild in which players are expected and sometimes required to stay in character at all times - in /say, /yell/, /party, /guild and other channels. There may be a specifically created channel for out of character communication between the members. Outside the specific channel OOC usually only allowed through /whisper. Some Heavy RP Guilds may have a set of rules which members have to follow in order for the member to be able to stay with the said guild. Prior to joining Heavy RP guild it is always a good idea to first talk to an officer or a member of the guild you are interested in, as such guilds may ignore activities like: raiding, battlegrounds and such.
