Physical Description[]

  • Garments/Armor: Marsh typically favors comfortable hide breeches and a dark linen shirt. When garbed for battle he favors dark colors, girding himself in sleek reinforced leathers and hiding his face behind a mask so as to better blend in to the shadows.
  • Other: Marsh's most distinctive feature are his scars. His right arm and the right half of his face are covered in curling ritual scars extolling his achievements as a young orc. Further, the skin of his right hand taught and smooth, with fluid imperfections as though the whole of it had been held in a fire and has long since healed. Besides these and his various battle-scars, his appearance is largely undistinguished. He is slender for an orc, with a wiry and muscular build, and his lips are typically curled into a playful or even mocking grin.

Personality[]

Marsh is generally easy going, and often surprisingly quick to laugh for an orc. He can often be found fishing or lounging near alliance settlements heckling, taunting, or otherwise teasing alliance adventurers. Despite this general good humor, like all orcs he relishes battle perhaps above all things, and is often one of the first in any group to throw himself headfirst into the fray. Taking great joy in bloodshed, he is often prone to lecturing others on the glory of battle and the righteousness of bloodshed.

On occasion Marsh evinces a more serious side, especially when the subject of death or one's ancestors come up. Though he keeps his troubles close to his chest, Marsh's friends and close acquaintances tend to be aware that something weighs heavily on his mind.

History[]

Marsh does not frequently bring up his history. He doesn't seem to mind dropping hints, however. He's fairly free with the fact that he fought in the second war as a proud member of the Shattered Hand Clan, and has no regrets at serving with the horde at the peak of its blood lust. He often intimates that he spent some years at sea after the war, rather than in the internment camps. He expresses mixed feelings towards humans and elves, suggesting that he's had a number of dealings with them. Since the founding of Durotar and Orgrimmar, though he's been a not uncommon sight in the orcish capital, though what exactly it is that he does is unclear.
